From Minor League Baseball to Vacation (and Back)

Hopefully you had a great last week of December and even better first week of January. Mine couldn’t be any better, especially around New Year’s. I won’t bore you with every single detail, but I had a perfect vacation with my girlfriend to Disney World in Orlando from New Year’s Eve until Tuesday (five days, four nights).

If you happen to be going there anytime soon, definitely check out Toy Story Mania, which is like the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin on steroids.

After a trip through Frontierland, Adventureland, Tommorrowland, Movie Land (Hollywood Studios), World Land (EPCOT) and Animal Kingdom (don’t worry, I’m done with the ridiculous stretches), it’s back to the real world.

I don’t remember what movie it’s from, but there’s some Denzel Washington film where he’s a cab driver, and he goes on “vacation” every single day by escaping into a favorite photograph of his. I could certainly use that tactic more often.
